Message	pulled when you pull the handle inside the car. If you could get a long long screwdriver up in there from underneath the car and push that trigger mechanism from the passenger side towards the driver side, it should release. Picture #8 (pic #s are under each pic; not above) in that post I replied to you: [ http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=technical&msg_id=912256 ] See how the cable-stop is on the left? And that bottom retainer spring attaches to the latch mechanism trigger on the right? That's a backside view of the latch, so you are looking at it as though you were sitting in the engine compartment; not from in front of the car. In the latch's frame on it's bottom, there is a notched out area under and to the right of the trigger mechanism. If you come at that trigger mechanism from the bottom at a slight diagonal angle and push at it with the long long screwdriver, it should pop the latch open.
